qplay is a free GPL-software project.

It tries to extends the long list of front-ends for mpg123 and ogg123. It is written in C, using ncurses library to display a user-friendly inferface to manage a play- and queue-list and has a module(-like) system to add some new file formats.
The playlist can be played in sequence or in shuffle mode. The queuelist always plays in sequence and has a higher priority, thus favored songs can be played one behind the other.
The list can be sorted with a merge-sort or randomized.
